The Gymies Semester

The Gymies term runs from September through June, covering the school calendar year. Upon enrollment, your place in the class is held month-to-month until the semester ends.

Please note that Gymies is always open with the exception of Shabbat and Chag (Jewish Holidays). You can expect classes to operate as scheduled throughout the semester unless otherwise specified.

  • Payments must be made upon enrollment

2) Semester Payment Plan

  • Divide tuition into two payments and receive a 5% discount

Payment Schedule

Monthly Billing:

If you have selected monthly payments, the entire semester fee (which spans from September through June) will be equally distributed across the remaining months in the semester. This means you’ll receive the same charge each month regardless of how many classes are offered that month. Class dates that fall out on holidays are not included when we account for the number of classes in each semester, so you won’t be paying for any class dates that coincide with holidays.

If you join Gymies mid-semester, your semester fee will be prorated and won’t include any classes you have missed prior to your registration date.

Upgrading Your Plan

Whether you select a semester payment plan or recurring monthly payments, you always have the option to upgrade your plan and apply the relevant discount to your remaining payments. Please note that we do not prorate previous charges based on your upgrade and payments that have already been made will not be adjusted.

Mid-Semester Enrollment

Class fees are automatically prorated upon mid-session enrollment.

Refunds and exchanges

Gymies payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Mid-Semester Cancellation

Upon mid-semester cancellation of recurring monthly payments or semester payment plans, tuition charges will be prorated based on the number of classes that have passed since your enrollment date. In the event that you have taken more classes than your tuition payments have covered to date, your card will be charged the remaining balance.

Cancellation requests are accepted via email only at info@gymiesgym.com.

1. Full Semester Payment Cancellations: If full semester tuition was already paid and you would like to cancel your membership, enrollment can be transferred to any other Gymies program taking place within the same semester. Transfers are valid for the dates of the semester that the original registration was made.

2. Semester Payment Plan Cancellations: Semester payment plans can be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the next billing cycle.

3. Recurring Monthly Payment Cancellations: Monthly memberships can be canceled at any time before the 15th of the month, effective for the upcoming billing cycle.

Make-Up Classes

Each student is allotted one make-up class per month in the form of an open gym pass. Make-up classes must be booked a minimum of 72 hours in advance via email and are subject to availability. Make-ups are limited to the current month and cannot be applied to future months. You must hold an active enrollment to qualify for a make-up class.

FAQ

  • How long are classes?

Classes range from 30 minutes for ages 1 and 2, to 45 minutes for ages 3-5 and one hour for most classes for ages 6 and up.

  • How early can I arrive before my class?

You should arrive 10-15 minutes before class to allow yourself time to change and prepare for class.

  • Does my child need to bring snacks or drinks?

We recommend bringing a water bottle for sports classes. We do have a filtered water fountain on site if you need refills. Snacks are a good idea if you are taking a back-to-back class or are coming straight from school.

If you are sending your child to camp, please send along a labeled water bottle, snacks, and lunch.

    Gymies is a nut-free zone.

  • What does my child need to wear to class?

For Gymnastics are aerial classes, girls typically wear a leotard and leggings, no shoes or socks, and tie their hair back. Ninja Zone and Boys Gymnastics students should wear soft pants and avoid stiff canvas or jeans, while Jiu Jitsu students wear a Gi.

Gymies sells a full line of leotards, footless tights, leggings and Jiju Jitsu Gis, so you can purchase those on site if needed.
